Supermoon Sighting in Abu Dhabi

Last November 14, 2016, the world saw the brightest, closest and largest supermoon sighting since 1948, that's after 68 years! Together with other photography enthusiast and the general public, I was excited to catch glimpse of the said moon.

It showed closest at 5:52pm. Alas, I am still at work and only managed to look at the sky past 8pm. As soon as I arrived at home, I immediately grabbed my Canon SX50HS, a powercam tagged as the world's first 50x optical zoom lens.
